We are delighted to welcome Ankith Donthi, ARNP, CPNP-PC, all the way from Nashville! Ankith is a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and diagnosing behavioral challenges and mental health concerns like ADHD, anxiety, depression, and OCD.

He provides patient-centered and evidence-based care to children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral health concerns. His clinical expertise and background in special education helps him to better the lives of children and their families in the community. He strives to address his patients’ concerns using a collaborative approach involving both the parent(s) and child when making the diagnosis, formulating a treatment plan, and making referrals for the health concerns.


Ankith attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he completed a BA in Religious Studies with a minor in Chemistry. He then attended Georgetown University to pursue a Master’s of Science in Physiology and Biophysics. He taught special education preschool and high school science, which sparked his love for kids, development, and mental health. To combine all these interests, he attended Vanderbilt School of Nursing where he earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner. He is board certified in Pediatric Primary Care Nursing by the PNCB, and he completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center. He has done multiple preceptorships in genetics, complex care, and developmental medicine at both Meharry Medical College and Vanderbilt Center of Child Development.

Ankith has practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a variety of unique environments including a developmental and behavioral medicine clinic in Nashville, TN; a pediatric urgent care in San Mateo, CA; and multiple primary care offices both in TN and NC. He prides himself in being adaptable to new settings and he strives to be helpful, efficient, and collaborative with all of his colleagues. He values patient-centered and evidence-based care, and prides himself in providing culturally-sensitive, LGBTQ-inclusive, empathetic and holistic care.


Ankith has lived in Nashville since 2016, but is a native of North Carolina. He has recently moved to Seattle, WA to start a new adventure in the Pacific Northwest with his wife. He enjoys hiking, biking, being an at-home barista, and cooking vegetarian foods for friends, his wife, and his dog. Outside of work, he is often found adventuring with his Hungarian Shepherd (named Hero) in the mountains, lakes, rivers across the United States. He is an avid traveler and enjoys exploring new cuisines across the globe. He has travelled to Japan, Taiwan, India, Netherlands, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, and Belgium.
